My father, who just died at the age of 90, was the original owner of this Suburban. I went with him to Queen City GMC in Green Brook, NJ in 1991 to buy the new model 1992 Suburban and they had this untitled unit with a couple thousand miles on it that was driven by a GM Zone Manager as a pilot truck to demonstrate the new generation Suburban. The color scheme was that of the GMC official pit crew trucks for the Indy 500 that year, including the stripe. I am a used car dealer. Many years later, I got my father a Tahoe and sold this truck to one of my neighbors. He has had it since then and is buying a van from me, so I am selling this truck for the second time. I know its entire history since 1991, and it is a great running vehicle with a solid frame and undercarriage, excellent mechanicals, and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. It has 3.73 gearing and factory towing package, but has never been used for towing.
